How to use the Drum Tuner:

First prepare your drum for tuning (you need some fundamental knowledge of how to tune a drum) and place it on a drum stool or mute the middle of you drum with your fingers.

Then open the Drum Tuner and pointing the microphone at the drum with about 5-15 cm distance.

IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ALLOWED THE APP TO USE THE MICROPHONE!!! If you have disabled it, please turn it on in the system Settings - Privacy - Microphone;

Hit the drum near the a lug and adjust it to a sound you like if you do not have a specific target frequency to tune, and make sure the Drum Tuner have picked the frequency.

Note that DO NOT hit the drum continuously but with single separated strokes, because the Drum Tuner the strokes with the burst of volume so that continuous stroke or noisy environment will disturb the stroke detection.

Once you find a satisfied sound (or you have a specified frequency in the first place), you can set it to the target frequency in the Drum Tuner and begin to tune other lugs to the same frequency.

It is recommended to use the Filter mode if you have a target and it will only pick up the frequencies that are near (within about +-40Hz) the target frequency, so that the tuning result will not be interfered by the fundmental tone or other overtones .

Once you have finished tuning, you can save the current settings to the drum list for later use by long-press or swipe left on the target frequency.
